Moon Park is full of tents now! An improvised camp! Bonfires to fight off the cold! Tables to get hot tea, etc!

I signed the protestor petition today. It was exciting! But scary! But exciting! Really. Everyone was bustling around! Moon Park is full of tents now! An improvised camp! Bonfires to fight off the cold! Tables to get hot tea. A generator to power improvised lights and crock pots for hot meals. A tent for plugging in laptops and power up ipods and iphones. I checked that out. It was clever actually. They are using laptops and printers to churn out placards. They have three tourists from London helping them translate to appeal to London for support. Every funny sort of person is here. Kids. Collage students. Janitors. Engineers. Secretaries. Shopkeepers. Mums  and sisters of the protestors.  But there they are! Bustling around with huge tea pots full of boiling tea for everyone! And they are cooking meals for their sunny boys! I don’t know if I should be awed or laugh at the absurdity of it all. It is so petty bourgeoisie! Everyone in middle class winter cloaks and Wellington boots against the snow and slush! Hats pulled down and mufflers pulled up! Mutts or gloves! Anarchists with mums! What a laugh!
