The daytime TV cameras show an abandoned park with a jumble of debris. I don’t see an armed camp like newscasters said. The internet pics and iphone pics show everything smashed up but no signs of guns or bombs or anything. People at the scene say the Chief Navigator asked Chancery Court to call out riot police after protests turned deadly. But no one saw anything until the riot police unleashed water cannon and tear gas in the depths of night. So much for offering myself as minister of propaganda. Gig over. Show over. Free food over.
