I am monitoring the feeds as the rest of the communication tent falls to sleep in their chairs slumped over improvised desks crafted out of crates and junk. Between emails I surf the net. International chatter says Zendula’s top elected official is about to fall. ‘I am not a crook!’ I snarl in my best Nixon impression. Wags says instead of ‘Watergate’ the scandal that will take down the Chief Navigator should be called Golconda House because his currency broker worked there. I wonder why he was so careless as to accidentally tell the crucial intel to the old fashion reporter who just so happened to be at Golconda House sleuthing around. The old guy hopped a plane to Switzerland in time to watch Interpol bust the case wide open at last. The smoking gun was cyber evidence on a financial computer screen. I wonder if the Chief Navigator is erasing ten minutes from crucial tapes like Nixon. Or if he will do something else instead.
